About our client:

Our client is a well renowned marketing company and is seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Controller to join a globally recognized organization with strong innovation, growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Control & Reporting

    • Monitor and analyze supply chain costs (procurement, warehousing, logistics, distribution).

    • Prepare regular financial reports and variance analysis against budget/forecast.

    • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to supply chain.

  • Performance Management

    • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track supply chain efficiency, cost savings, and service levels.

    • Provide insights to management for continuous cost optimization.

    • Benchmark supplier and logistics partner performance against industry standards.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Partner with procurement, production, and logistics teams to build accurate forecasts.

    • Consolidate supply chain budgets and monitor actual performance against targets.

    • Identify risks and opportunities impacting working capital, inventory, and freight.

  • Inventory & Cost Control

    • Oversee inventory valuation and accuracy in coordination with finance and operations.

    • Ensure proper costing of materials, inbound/outbound freight, and overhead allocation.

    • Implement initiatives to reduce obsolete or excess inventory.

  • Process Improvement & Compliance

    • Support process reengineering projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory standards.

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain workflows.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or CSCP) are an advantage.

  • 5+ years' experience in finance, supply chain controlling, or cost management roles.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, costing, and financial analysis.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), Excel, and BI tools.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in a busy, matrixed environment.
