Senior Finance Manager (Selangor)

About our client
This company is a local homegrown company in the Trading and Distribution industry based in Subang Jaya. They specialise in bringing in some of our most loved and well-known brands that we are familiar with. Due to recent movement in the Finance team and in line with their expansion plans, they are now looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager to join their team.

Your role
This Senior Finance Manager will report to the Head of Finance and manage a team. You will oversee the day-to-day finance operations, month-end and year-end closing. Your responsibilities includes budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, ensure adequacy of internal controls, compliance and taxation. You will also be given the opportunity to oversee and ensure smooth implementation of system integration projects. This is the company's ongoing effort to automate and improve their accounting processes and move forward from manual accounting.

Your background
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 10 years experience handling similar scope of work and at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or professional accounting qualification. Applicants would also need experience managing a team and stakeholder management as you will be working closely with the Directors of the company. It is also ideal to have good leadership, strong communication skill and a keen eye for details.
