SEA Regional Sales Manager (Energy)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth across Southeast Asia in the Oil & Gas and Marine industries. This person will develop sales plans, manage key customer accounts, and help grow our market presence for equipment and solutions used in offshore, energy, and marine projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with regional key customers by understanding their business needs, market trends, and strategies to position the company as a preferred supplier.
  • Lead and support a small regional sales team by setting clear targets, providing guidance, and driving collaboration to achieve business goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil & gas and marine segments to expand market presence and profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and account management strategies for target customers and projects.
  • Coordinate closely with internal technical, service, and product teams to deliver customized equipment solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Monitor project pipelines, performance, and pricing to ensure competitive positioning and cost-effective delivery.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to regional management.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, and client meetings to enhance visibility and network opportunities.
  • Share market feedback and customer insights with internal stakeholders to support innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience within the Oil & Gas and/or Marine sectors.
  • Proven track record selling industrial equipment, mechanical systems, or technical solutions (e.g. valves, pumps, compressors, turbines, automation systems, marine components) to the Oil & Gas and/or Marine sectors.
  • Strong network among major O&G operators, shipyards, EPCs, and service providers in the region.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and travel regionally as required.
