Regional Finance Director

About Our Client
Our client is a steadily growing FMCG company based in KL with a long-standing history at a global scale. They are currently seeking for a talented individual to lead their Finance function in a regional capacity and support business growth.

Your Responsibilities
You will report to a Regional CFO and partner closely with the Managing Director of the business. Key responsibilities includes:

• Oversee financial accounting and reporting while ensuring strong internal controls and adherence to company policies
• Collaborate with the Commercial team and Finance Lead from each country in your portfolio to set strategy, focus, and priorities for the market
• Drive strategic business plans and develop long-term operating plans
• Partner with cross-functional teams for end-to-end P&L understanding across channels, key customers, and innovations
• Consolidate business results and provide performance management advice to regional and HQ
• Manage cash flow, cash management and funding
• Oversee finance operations, including statutory accounting, tax matters, and providing advice on labor, customs, accounting, and tax issues
• Take full responsibility for P&L and balance sheet management

Requirements
You will need:

• Membership with a professional accounting body such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA and at leat 15 years experience in a relevant role
• Experience in industries related to Consumer Products such as FMCG, Retail, Food Manufacturing and Consumer Healthcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple stakeholders across different countries and levels
