Regional Commercial Finance Manager

About Our Client:

This company is a well-established multinational organisation within the chemical manufacturing industry.



Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic finance business partner to commercial and operational teams.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across business units.
• Analyse business performance, customer profitability, and sales pipeline to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Provide commercial insights on pricing models, tenders, and contract negotiations.
• Develop financial models to support new business cases, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, gross margins, and ROI, providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure financial targets are aligned with business goals.
• Manage month-end reporting, variance analysis, and management presentations.
• Continuously improve financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to enhance data accuracy and speed of delivery.

The successful candidate would be a key part in shaping commercial decisions, supporting pricing and margin strategies, and delivering data-driven insights that enhance business profitability and growth.



Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a commercial or business partnering role.
• Proven experience in a B2B environment such as manufacturing, distribution, technology, or services.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is advantageous.
