Payroll Assistant Manager
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Verify and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy.
- Manage employee deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll and vendor checks.
- Maintain and update payroll records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of SAP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
