IR Manager

Job description

Our client is a leading player in the beverage manufacturing industry, known for its strong presence across Southeast Asia.

  • Mediate disputes between employees and management, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, union agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements and maintain positive union relationships.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Provide guidance to management on labor relations best practices.
  • Monitor labor relations trends and proactively address emerging issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor relations activities and agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial relations, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Practicing lawyer with experience in employment or labor law is welcome
