About the role
Our client, a global leader in security and access solutions, is seeking an accomplished Head of Project Sales to lead their commercial and industrial sales division. This is a senior leadership role covering the company's entire product portfolio, focusing on project-based sales across the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing team to deliver results.
Key responsibilities
Lead the project sales team in driving growth across commercial and industrial segments, covering the full product range.
Develop and execute sales strategies to secure specifications and win large-scale projects.
Manage and mentor a team of at least 3 sales professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and individual development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, architects, and key decision-makers.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical, operations) to deliver end-to-end solutions tailored to client needs.
Monitor market trends, project pipelines, and competitor activities to anticipate opportunities and risks.
Oversee tender processes, proposals, and contract negotiations for key projects.
Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years' proven experience in project sales within the building materials, construction, or related product industries.
Strong leadership track record, with experience managing and developing a team of 3 or more sales professionals.
Established network within consultants, contractors, and developers is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to close large-scale project deals.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic, project-based environment.
