Our client is a multinational company that has been providing insurance products for over 100+ years and are market leaders across SEA servicing more than 1 billion customers. Currently they are looking for a Senior manager to act as the SME regarding MSSQL Databases and assist with related tasks throughout the company.

Job responsibilities

  • Act as a SME regarding databases using SQL and MSSQL to assist L3 L4 support teams.
  • Assess technical architecture and provide suggestions and recommendations for both software and hardware related matters.
  • Work with multiple teams across various aspects of infrastructure in the company
  • Provide guidance and mentorship for juniors on the team.
  • Participate in 24/7 on call support.

Requirements for this position are:

  • 10 years of hands-on experience with MSSSQL databases with experience in optimizing, deploying and maintaining
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud and Azure data platform
  • Prior experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
