About the role
Our client, a global leader in access and security solutions, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Commercial Sales Manager to lead and expand their commercial sales operations. This position covers the company's entire product portfolio, including architectural hardware, door opening solutions, and security systems. The successful candidate will drive business growth across key commercial and industrial segments, lead a sales team, and strengthen relationships with developers, consultants, and contractors to deliver sustained revenue performance.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets across all product categories.
Lead, mentor, and manage a commercial sales team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including developers, architects, consultants, contractors, and distributors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
Oversee project sales from tendering to closure, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and customer requirements.
Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams to deliver effective end-to-end solutions.
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and project developments to identify emerging opportunities.
Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and strategic updates for senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development within the building materials, construction, or related product industries.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth and managing key client relationships at a senior level.
At least 5 years of leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
Strong commercial acumen and experience in project-based sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and project engagement.
