CFO role in Klang (Manufacturing and Trading)

About Our Client
Our client is a company in the Manufacturing and Trading industry with a footprint of 30 years in this region and a strong customer base both locally and abroad. They are expanding their business offerings and is looking for an experienced CFO to join their team based in Klang.

Your role
This role is fully on-site and will report to the Managing Director. You will manage a team and oversee the day-to-day Finance & Accounting operations to ensure smooth and timely Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting. Aside from managing and overseeing this department on a full spectrum basis, your role will also be spearheading process improvements initiatives to improve efficiency. There is also the opportunity to handle automation and drive the capabilities of the team to the next level in line with the business needing close support from the finance function.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 15 years experience within Finance and Accounting and a minimum of Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a membership with a professional accounting body. You should also have manufacturing experience and have been in a people management role for at least 10 years. This role requires candidates to possess strong interpersonal skill and the ability to streamline work flow and drive process improvement plans.
