We're very proud to have been awarded MSC Malaysia status MDEC. Here we talk more about the status and what it means to us and you.
So what is MSC & MDEC?
MSC Malaysia formerly known as The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) program was launched in 1996 to ensure the objectives of Vision 2020 were achieved. The idea was to create a multimedia hub in Malaysia for innovation and for those involved in multi-media technology with the aim of changing the way of working, collaborating and existing in the Information Age.
MDEC was formed to oversee MSC Malaysia and is mostly responsible for ensuring international Information and Communication Technology companies are attracted to setting up in Malaysia. It also looks to attract professionals within the ICT industry to move to work within MSC Malaysia as well as encouraging global investment in MSC Malaysia businesses.
What does it mean to have MSC Malaysia Status?
MSC Malaysia status is recognition by the Government of Malaysia through the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), that certain businesses are supporting the national interest in this respect by virtue of their business activities.
Ambition has been recognised in this respect for its contribution based on Knowledge Transfer of IT through the organisations it recruits for as well as the professionals whom they help with their careers in finding them new roles or supporting them with recruitment advice.
Ambition is also proud to partner with MDEC, the governing body in this respect as a fully-fledged MSC status company.
