Vision Process Engineer

Job description

Our client is a rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturer, currently looking to hire a Vision Process Engineer to support its high-volume production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) programs to meet product quality and performance goals.

  • Support new product and process introductions, ensuring seamless integration into mass production.

  • Drive yield and process improvements, and manage critical issue escalation per internal procedures.

  • Lead cross-functional yield enhancement initiatives with Production, R&D, and Quality teams.

  • Validate new AOI programs and setups; create and maintain SOPs and process flow documentation.

  • Investigate defect trends and abnormal lots, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

  • Support machine buy-off processes and ensure equipment readiness and process compliance.

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement (CI) projects focused on defect reduction and quality assurance.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years' experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in vision systems or AOI.

  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with vision inspection platforms and software.

  • Solid communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently in a dynamic and diverse environment.
