Our client is a multinational company that has been providing products for over 100+ years and are market leaders across SEA servicing more than 1 billion customers. Currently they are looking for a Senior manager to act as the SME regarding MSSQL Databases and assist with related tasks throughout the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the SME related for AIX and Solaris Operating systems handling design, configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and security breaches.
  • Identify and suggest improvement opportunities related to AIX and Solaris systems.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors.
  • Maintain and develop documentation standards and polices.

Job requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in system infrastructure using Operating systems such as IBM AIX, RHEL or Oracle Solaris
  • Education background in computer science
  • Strong understanding of shell scripting and automation tools
  • Ability to Plan install and configure Power systems.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle databases
  • Familiarity with backup technologies
  • Problem solving mentality and ability to collaborate with others.
