Tax Manager (Shah Alam)

About our Client

This company is a manufacturing company based in Shah Alam. They are looking to hire a Tax Manager to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance, with a proven track record of managing tax processes and optimizing tax strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
  • Prepare and review tax provisions and financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage indirect tax compliance and optimize tax efficiencies.
  • Conduct transfer pricing analyses and ensure compliance with arm's length principles.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of e-invoicing systems and platforms.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a manufacturing environment or Big 4.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Execellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals and stakeholders.
