Talent Manager

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Talent Manager who will play a strategic role in driving the organization's talent development agenda. This role partners closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) team and leverages HR data analytics to build data-driven talent strategies that support employee growth, career development, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement talent management frameworks including succession planning, high-potential (HiPo) programs, and career pathing.
  • Collaborate with L&D to co-create and drive impactful learning programs aligned to business needs.
  • Facilitate talent reviews and ensure follow-through of development plans and actions.

HR Data & Talent Analytics

  • Use HR data to provide insights on workforce trends, talent gaps, learning effectiveness, and development ROI.
  • Develop dashboards and reports on talent metrics (e.g., internal mobility, turnover risk, bench strength).
  • Leverage tools like Power BI, Excel, or HRIS to support decision-making on talent initiatives.

Performance & Succession Planning

  • Support annual performance management cycles, calibration sessions, and individual development plans (IDPs).
  • Maintain and refine the 9-box talent matrix, ensuring data integrity and action tracking.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and department heads to identify talent needs and provide solutions.
  • Influence leadership teams on strategic talent actions using data-backed insights.
  • Act as a talent advisor to guide managers on development planning and succession readiness.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR, with strong exposure to talent management and L&D.
  • Experience in working with HR analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Workday, SuccessFactors).
