System Analyst- Core banking

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, spanning from inception to post-deployment phases.
  • Oversee project delivery management, ensuring end-to-end coordination and active engagement in design, development, testing, and support.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills to translate analyses into solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan and manage technical deliverables, including system enhancements and upgrades, within allocated budgets.
  • Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts, System Analysts, and subject matter experts to understand and implement functional and technical requirements.
  • Provide input to the specification phase, offering effort estimates and a high-level delivery plan based on impact assessments.
  • Prepare a comprehensive technical implementation plan across application teams.
  • Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure a smooth production cutover and provide adequate post-implementation support.

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in Banking/Information Technology.
  • Knowledgeable in the AS400 platform, RPG, CL & COBOL programming.
  • Good understanding and experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
  • Familiarity with Silverlake's banking software suite is advantageous.
  • Functional and system knowledge of Remittance, Domestic & Cross-Border Payment (e.g., IBG, RENTAS, RPP), and Bulk Payment processing.
  • Experience in providing effort estimation mandays, cost, and preparing Functional Specification Documents for proposed solutions.
