Supply Chain Optimizer

Job description

This established 4PL MNC based in Selangor is looking to hire a Supply Chain Optimizer to their team. This role will focus on the monitoring of day-to-day shipments and coordinating for all modes of transport for international customers. This person will also need to have knowledge in handling DG (Dangerous Goods) Cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To book shipments in all modes of transport (Sea, Air, Truck, CEP and Rail)
  • Following up on the status of the shipments and handling of all relevant documents
  • Liaise with LSP and be the first point of contact with international customers
  • Settling freight costs on time and replying inquiries within 24 hours

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Holding a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transport logistics in all forms of freight forwarding (Air, Sea, Rail, Courier, Road)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office with Outlook and Excel
