SEA Supply Chain Engineer/Purchasing Engineer

This global manufacturing MNC is looking to hire an experienced Purchasing Engineer to heavily focus on localisation projects of their suppliers. This person must be able to work independently and able to manage multiple tasks and the ability to negotiation complex terms and conditions with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the existing Supply Chain strategy for Southeast Asia (SEA)
• Fully participate in supplier selection, development and management for suppliers located in SEA
• Identify new sources for components supporting product line transfers and new products
• Manage the overall sourcing process from quote pack preparation, review of technical & commercial matters, negotiations with suppliers and final

Skills & Experience Required:

• Must have relevant experience in sourcing and supply chain
• Must be able to do material planning, purchasing, inventory management and material control processes
• Will be working with other team members from other regions
• Able to travel extensively mainly in South East Asia and sometimes globally
