Software Architect (NodeJs + TypeScript)

Our client is currently experiencing rapid growth, with their cloud services taking a pivotal role. Their goal is to establish a scalable, cloud-native infrastructure for developing our next-generation cloud-based products. Simultaneously, looking into devising strategies to seamlessly integrate this new infrastructure with our existing systems. Empower their team members to lead, take initiative, and drive technological advancements

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other architects to define the architectural vision in alignment with the product roadmap and company goals.
• Take ownership of the overall architecture and core framework that supports this vision.
• Empower and guide teams in making informed decisions while ensuring alignment with our architectural direction.
• Facilitate integration across different teams and services to ensure cohesive system functionality. Drive prototyping efforts and innovation initiatives to explore new solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to design scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective systems.

Key Requirements :

• Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, along with substantial relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing modular, service-oriented architectures is required.
• Ideally, candidates should have worked on large-scale enterprise systems or cloud projects from the ground up.
• Demonstrated ability to make accurate technical judgments and assess long-term risks in complex situations is essential
• Tech experience :
  • Typed programming languages, preferably Typescript or Rust
  • JavaScript Libraries/ Frameworks, such as React and Next.js
  • Data infrastructure tools and frameworks covering storage, querying/processing, transformation and output.
  • AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Kinesis, Athena and DBT
  • DevOps in Cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Databases, both NoSQL and Relational Databases
