Senior Specialist, Business Continuity Management

Our Client

A leading financial services provider is seeking a Senior Specialist, Business Continuity Management to be part of the global team and support day to day, high priority incident management as well as business continuity planning and exercises.

About the Role

  • Prepare business lines for potential disruption through communication and reporting processes such as incident management, business continuity and recovery strategy etc
  • Responsible for the BCM plan, development, maintenance to implement appropriate BCM contingency plans and associated controls
  • Track outstanding audit items or regulatory findings relative to the respective business lines, as they relate to BCM, assuring established timelines are met
  • Advise and recommend on continuity strategies in the identification of risks, the determination of risk tolerances, the selection of appropriate recovery strategies
  • Identify gaps in application capabilities requirements working with the business and IT to resolve the gap through acceptance, work arounds or an enhancement project

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, banking and finance or other equivalent discipline(s)
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in business continuity planning and operational risk
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to cope with multiple deadlines
