Our client is one of the largest local banks in Malaysia. They are currently in search of capable talent to take up the role of Senior Solution Engineer to support and manage Asset Management application system.

Responsibility

• Support Asset Management application system to meet user and business needs
• Assist in Asset Management application change requests and liaise with Asset Management users and vendors for consistency and proper operation of the application system
• Coordinate between user and tech team to deliver optimal solution via business requirements, functional requirements and take charge in developing new digital platform
• Convert user needs to application solutions
• Test and implement new applications thoroughly
• Receive and manage incidents in line with service commitments and incident management processes and report where appropriate
• Actively improve the service quality, assess trends and deliver updates regularly to leads
• Develop and execute plans to solve complex technical difficulties
• Adhere and comply with high standard of integrity, in line with legal and regulatory requirements, all relevant acts and laws
• Maintain proper supervisory procedures and competent system of internal control
• Develop reports for teams across the business and support users for any IT issues

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, major in software development
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in application support and application change
• Experience in project management methodology especially in banking, insurance or unit trust companies
• Familiar with SSIS or ETL, Java, ASP, .net, mobile application coding or support
• Knowledge in Oracle/MSSQL will be an extra advantage
• Good technical skill, with enterprise architecture exposure.
