Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst (Banking)

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects within retail and commercial banking, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and marketing, to drive collaboration and ensure project goals are met.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed to keep projects on track.

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of banking processes, systems, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation within retail and commercial banking segments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to translate business requirements into actionable solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP) preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management OR business analysis roles within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on retail and commercial banking.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services, and processes, including deposit accounts, lending products, payments, and digital banking platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to the banking industry, particularly in retail and commercial banking domains.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), as well as business analysis techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN, UML, Microsoft Visio).
