Senior Project Engineer/ Project Manager

My client is a global food processing company. They are looking for a Senior Project Engineer/ Project Manager due to rapid expansion. You will have the opportunity to contribute and start up a new project team.

Job Description

• Develop project completion schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Review project schedules with senior management and relevant staff, adjusting as needed.
• Participate in planning, designing, executing, and commissioning new manufacturing lines, cost-saving projects, and process improvements.
• Provide technical support to enhance existing manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, QAQC, and Warehouse Departments for effective machine maintenance.
• Establish a communication schedule to update staff on project progress.
• Develop safety procedures and conduct training for machinery maintenance.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory authorities and follow application processes.
• Address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Enforce site safety and health regulations.
• Execute quality assurance systems, including inspections and testing.
• Handle future improvement/expansion projects related to maintenance systems.
• Maintain records and progress reports for management.
• Assist in liaising with contractors and subcontractors.
• Inspect new facilities to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Conduct condition and risk assessments on maintenance assets.
• Identify methods to improve maintenance practices for asset reliability.
• Prepare tender documents for new production lines and utility system extensions.
• Perform other duties as instructed.
• Maintain plant production efficiency and process flow.
• Collaborate with Production & Maintenance to solve design and manufacturing issues.
• Work with Quality to implement product improvements.
• Assist in transitioning pilot lab production to full-scale.
• Ensure developments meet internal and external requirements.
• Investigate and propose solutions for process optimization.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred fields: Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
• 05 years of project experience is a must.
• Candidates with food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Technical Reporting: Ability to create technical reports for management.
• Analytical Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and engineering conceptualization abilities.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Automation Skills: Preferably knowledgeable in automation, PLC, HMI, etc.
• Contractor Liaison: Capable of technical communication with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Work Ethic: Dedicated to strong work ethics, integrity, honesty, safety, compliance, and quality.
• Startup Experience: Experience in technical equipment or production line startup is advantageous.
