Senior Product Manager

Our client is a leading Southeast Asian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company involved in the production and distribution of food products, cooking oils, margarine, specialty fats, soaps, detergents, and oleochemicals, with operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. They are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their team!

Job description:

• Monitor and review the growth, sales and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Monitor cost and take proactive actions to protect and improve profitability of assigned brand portfolio.
• Develop and execute yearly marketing activation plans that encompasses Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line activities, annual sales promotion campaign and consumer engagement program to achieve the targeted yearly objectives.
• Lead and drive new product development in the assigned brands and ensure new products are launched with adequate marketing support.
• Resourceful in gathering general market trends, consumer insights, market shares and competitive information as reference for NPDs, strategy development, marketing, and trade support programs.
• Oversee the functions of manager and executive in the department and coordinating with other departments on all business matter relating to the assigned department/brand/portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a marketing role, internship, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in marketing.
• Experience in the FMCG industry and strong exposure to New Product Development.
• Proficient in English. Proficiency in Malay and Mandarin would be advantageous.
