Senior Infra Release Engineer (Middleware)

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and validate infrastructure for both testing and production environments.
  • Support maintenance tasks such as system upgrades, patching, and capacity improvements for Customer Management and Credit Origination applications across multiple countries.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Enhance and maintain the testing environment by creating and managing automated monitoring tools and scripts.
  • Provide support for SIT/UAT deployments using DevOps pipelines and Aldon tools.
  • Document deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, and environment configurations to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.



Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration, including setup and configuration of WebLogic and JBoss with SSL encryption.
  • Proven track record in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AIX/Linux-based middleware platforms such as WebLogic and JBoss.
  • Strong understanding of automation and CI/CD practices, with practical experience using tools like Jenkins, Aldon, Ansible, and container technologies.
  • Skilled in scripting using UNIX Shell and Groovy for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in managing environments, provisioning infrastructure, and executing deployment processes.
  • Experienced in Release Management, including planning, coordination, and execution of release cycles.
  • Familiar with middleware technologies including IBM MQ, Connect:Direct, FTP/SFTP. Experience with Oracle Database operations is an added advantage.
  • Solid grasp of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services environments is highly desirable.
