Senior Finance Analyst

About Our Client:
This company is a well-known and rapidly growing organisation in the education sector in Malaysia. They are currently looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team, with talents with strong reporting exposure who are looking to step into financial analytics role. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Senior FP&A Manager, based in Petaling Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Power BI tools and manage dashboards for management view and decision making on monthly basis.
• Approve purchase requisitions on various departments.
• Actively participate in monthly variance analysis, forecast and budgeting, financial modelling, feasibility studies, management reporting and presentations, etc.
• Business partner with various business units and provide relevant financial insights especially on business spends, resources allocation and any other ad hoc matters whenever necessary.
• Collaborate with Finance team on month-end close and any other statutory reporting matters.
• Participate in any strategic decision making, projects and ideas on continuous improvements.
• Conduct various ad-hoc duties per request.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience FP&A or related financial reporting roles.
• Possess a strong proficiency in in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Power BI would be a plus.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
