Senior Facilities Manager

Our client is a global manufacturer with operations in Penang, seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Facilities to lead site-level facilities management, infrastructure projects, and cross-functional coordination across production, office, and warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary facilities team, including engineers and security personnel

• Ensure smooth operations and maintenance of all facility systems

• Drive preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime

• Oversee CapEx and OpEx planning with cost and energy efficiency focus

• Manage construction, installation, and expansion projects

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards

• Liaise with government agencies and support site audits

• Standardize facility procedures and reporting systems

• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders

• Recruit, coach, and manage performance of facilities team

• Handle urgent facility matters and emergency responses

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field

• At least 15 years of experience in facilities management within semicon, electronics, or precision manufacturing

• Strong leadership in large-scale factory and infrastructure operations

• Proven success in maintenance planning, cost reduction, and project execution

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and facilities layout tools

• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience in regional or global team reporting structures
