Senior Customer Service Specialist
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary liaison between the sales office and customers, supporting business leaders including the Market Manager, Business Director, Head of Supply Chain, and Customer Service Manager.
* Manage the complete order fulfilment cycle - from receiving customer orders to ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
* Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments such as Sales, Logistics, Shipping, Warehouse, Procurement, and Production to resolve order-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
* Handle customer inquiries promptly, support lead generation, and provide updates to internal sales teams.
* Maintain strong working relationships with customers and channel partners to support long-term business engagement.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping for order status, inventory levels, and shipping documentation.
* Communicate proactively with customers regarding all aspects of order processing, shipping arrangements, and commercial information.
* Work closely with operations and cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and deliver high service levels throughout the order fulfilment process.
* Collect customer demand forecasts to support production planning and inventory optimization.
* Assist in implementing sales pricing strategies and support product development aligned with business goals.
* Provide administrative support to sales and marketing activities within the assigned region.
* Support day-to-day coordination tasks for the sales and marketing division, ensuring effective internal communication and workflow.
* Take a proactive approach in ensuring positive customer experience during pre- and post-sales activities.
Key Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* 5-8 years' experience in customer service or sales coordination, ideally within a manufacturing or export environment.
* Familiarity with export processes and basic shipping knowledge, including Incoterms, is preferred.
* Proficient in customer order management systems; knowledge of SAP and Oracle systems is an advantage.
* Strong command of English (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage due to customer interactions in the China and Taiwan regions.
* Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
