Senior Business Analyst (IT - Logistics)

Job Responsibilities

• Estimate work, set priorities, and plan projects with the Product Owner.
• Identify system enhancements to boost revenue or reduce costs.
• Ensure business requirements align with strategy and budget.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure Digital & Technology teams meet commitments.
• Manage interactions between business, IT, and external vendors.
• Align project goals with business and technology outcomes.
• Develop clear business requirements using analysis and modeling tools.
• Ensure technical solutions meet business needs and budget constraints.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and follow processes.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor and support other business analysts.
• Organize and lead workshops.
• Keep test documentation up-to-date.
• Provide advanced post-production support.
• Follow proper release management processes.
• Assist in planning resources for timely project delivery.
• Monitor and improve vendor performance.

Job Requirements

• Degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of freight and logistics systems.
• Preferred certification in PMP, PMI, PRINCE2, or PMBOK.
• 4+ years as a business analyst on mid to large SDLC projects.
• Expertise in business analysis, elicitation, and requirements gathering.
• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
• Solid grasp of project management lifecycles and procedures.
• Skilled in engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation and workshop leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of business case development and benefits tracking.
• Proficient in use case analysis, process flow, and business requirements.
