Senior Application Engineer (HVAC, Piping)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt energy recovery systems for commercial and industrial environments to maximize energy efficiency.
• Support the sales team by evaluating client opportunities through remote assessments using data like utility bills and facility metrics.
• Carry out conceptual system design, including calculations, layout planning, P&IDs, and preparing material take-offs (BOQs).
• Provide critical application data for internal teams to select appropriate products and generate selection sheets.
• Assist with technical support for energy savings calculations and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop optimized, site-specific system designs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in HVAC or thermal systems, including head load and cooling load calculations, and pipe sizing.
• Experience designing mechanical or energy systems from the ground up.
• Proficiency in interpreting and creating technical drawings and documentation.
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, or similar.
