Senior Accounts Executive

About our Client:


We are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing multinational company in the healthcare industry in Malaysia. They are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to join their growing team and will be responsible for full set of accounts. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager in Subang Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL and financial reporting tasks.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packs.
  • Responsible for end-to-end AP & AR processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, staff claims, customer billing, and receivables.
  • Liaise with external audit agents by preparing audit schedules, respond to auditor queries, and support the preparation of financial statements.
  • Perform tax computations, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements, which would also involve exposure to indirect taxes.
  • Actively involve in budgeting & forecasting by collecting and analysing financial data, support budget preparation, and perform variance analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.


Requirements:

  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit.
  • Possess strong proficiency in ERP/financial systems and MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
