Sales Planning Manager

About Our Client

Our client is a global leader within the beverage industry, holding a large portfolio of brands across multiple regions. In this role, you will be responsible to leverage analytics to support sales forecasting, promotion optimisation, and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic insights and analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize trade programs, and improve commercial planning effectiveness.
  • Enhance portfolio deployment and route-to-market strategies, using segmentation and CRM tools to maximize resource allocation and outlet performance.
  • Lead demand planning and inventory management, ensuring accurate forecasts, managing seasonal trends, and collaborating with sales and supply chain teams.
  • Analyze market performance and Nielsen data to provide actionable insights for modern trade channels and wholesaler targets.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through effective commercial planning cycles, meetings, and reporting to support business objectives.
  • Manage key tools and partnerships, including CRM systems, Anaplan enhancements, and Nielsen Malaysia liaison for standardized reporting and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales planning, business analytics, or commercial strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and/or Nielsen.
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
