Sales Application Engineer

My client:

My client is a manufacturing automation company specializes in designing, producing, and modifying automation machines, with business operations divided into manufacturing and distribution segments.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze plans, schematics, and customer documents for cost estimation.
• Gather detailed technical requirements through discussions with customers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design solutions meeting customer needs.
• Manage customer relationships, fostering new business opportunities.
• Adjust strategies by analyzing competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
• Prepare quotations, cost assessments, and test proposals for projects.
• Oversee project progress, communicate effectively, and provide support as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Electronics Engineering.
• Min 1 year working experience in related field.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills with internal team, customers and suppliers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills.
• Project management and analytical skills.
• Willing to travel outstation and overseas.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Willing to work on weekends when required.
• Possessed own transport.
