Sales & Marketing Manager

Overview:

A leading company in the food ingredients industry is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence in the specialty fats sector. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role:

• Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and marketing campaigns; explore new business opportunities via market research.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing technical and commercial support, conducting product presentations, and handling contract negotiations.
• Stay updated on market trends to identify suitable fats for manufacturers.
• Develop and manage first-tier and second-tier distributors, ensuring comprehensive market coverage and stable supply.
• Conduct regular distributor meetings to address gaps, provide training, and monitor sales performance.
• Drive sales with key accounts to strengthen brand presence and increase market share.
• Respond swiftly to customer needs and resolve issues to maintain strong relationships.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to enhance brand visibility.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in specialty fats, cocoa powder, or related food ingredients.
• Proven experience in selling specialty fats to the chocolate, bakery, and ice cream industries.
• Track record of working closely with R&D teams to deliver customized solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
