Retail Development and Operations Manager

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development efforts on aggressive timelines for Retail projects, ensuring on-time delivery in a dynamic environment.
  • Orchestrate daily processes across multiple functional streams to meet company standards for program planning and implementation.
  • Identify, develop, and implement processes to support work processes for KL Tech and support teams.
  • Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with relevant product specifications and standards.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve Technical POS issues.
  • Develop, delegate, plan, and prioritize work for Tech and support teams.
  • Support the execution of all build phases of domain projects, especially testing and training for data flows and interfaces.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in retail technology and processes.
  • 5-7 years of software/technology customer-facing experience, comfortable presenting complex topics to IT executives and leadership.
  • Significant experience in retail systems architecture and solution designs.
  • Skill in developing detailed technical documentation, studies, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, applications development, package implementation, and solutions management.
  • Solid understanding of the IT group operating model, including enterprise architecture, development lifecycle, tools, agile methodology, methods, and processes.
  • Demonstrated innovative approach to improving timeliness, quality, and efficiency of systems development projects/portfolios.
