Regional Sales Executive

Overview

We are hiring on behalf of a global technology leader in precision measurement and positioning solutions used across the construction, engineering, and infrastructure sectors. The company develops advanced equipment and software that improve accuracy, efficiency, and productivity on construction and surveying projects.

They are seeking a driven and technically capable Sales Engineer to support business growth in the Malaysian market. This role will focus specifically on promoting and selling land surveying equipment such as total stations and related positioning technologies to contractors, surveyors, and engineering professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with contractors, land surveyors, developers, consultants, and other stakeholders within the construction industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads within assigned territories or market segments.
  • Promote and sell land surveying equipment, including total stations and related positioning solutions, to meet client project requirements.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations for customers.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation for prospective clients.
  • Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide after-sales support, including basic training and technical guidance to customers where required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 1 year of B2B sales experience within the construction, surveying, building materials, or related industries.
  • Exposure to land surveying equipment, construction technology, or engineering instruments will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction site operations or surveying workflows is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
  • Mandarin language capability is an added advantage, particularly when engaging with a diverse client base.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations.
