About Our Client

Our client is a prominent retail organisation with a strong regional footprint, well‑regarded for driving operational excellence across its expansive store network. They are seeking a Regional HR Operations Manager to lead and optimise HR processes, ensuring seamless workforce support and operational efficiency across the MYSG markets.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee regional HR operational activities, ensuring smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes-including onboarding, internal movements, payroll coordination, and offboarding-across all assigned markets.
    • Uphold strong governance standards by ensuring HR practices remain compliant with country‑specific labour regulations, maintaining up‑to‑date policies, and partnering with local HR teams to address potential risk areas.
    • Drive the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of HR systems, ensuring high data accuracy, reliable reporting, and meaningful insights to support workforce planning and leadership decision‑making.
    • Strengthen operational efficiency by standardising HR processes across markets, identifying improvement opportunities, and introducing automation or digital solutions to streamline workflows.
    • Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, HR counterparts, and cross‑functional teams, providing guidance on HR operational matters and serving as the escalation point for complex cases.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the central HR Operations team, fostering capability development, clear performance standards, and a culture focused on service quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, or similar.
  • Comes with at least 8 - 10 years of HR operations experience, with experience managing mid-sized organizations. Prior experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
  • Has strengths in working with HR systems, designing processes, and managing employee lifecycle. Able to lead a team and improve HR operational capabilities.
  • Prior regional exposure would be advantageous.
