Regional HR Manager, APAC

Our client is a US headquartered manufacturing company with an established APAC presence and plans to expand it's regional HQ in Malaysia. Based in Klang, this regional HR Manager position will be responsible for five countries, leading on all HR and people matters as well as owning the HR strategy for the APAC region.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading on all human resources operational and strategic matters for five countries, including China, India and Australia
• Provide leadership, training and development to the team and strong business partnering to country leads and business stakeholders
• Establish strong relationships across the region to aid in implementing new HR initiatives
• Continually improve all human resource processes and policies, including C&B, L&D, recruitment and talent development
• Oversee the payroll process for approximately 300+ headcount across five countries

Key skills & experience required:

• Educated to degree level, preferably in an HR or business related subject but not essential
• Regional experience (preferably APAC) within the manufacturing or industrial sectors, particularly with an emphasis on blue collar working environments
• Experience of dealing with union's to establish a safe, pro-worker organisation
• Preferably a background within a Western or Australian environment, specifically plant based
