Regional Director - Sales

About the job

Our client specializes in the manufacturing of mechanical and thermal process engineering equipment, providing it as part of an end-to-end solution for their customers within industries such as food and material manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the CEO, you'll be responsible for managing the revenue of your assigned region.
• Directly managing Sales, Project Execution and Customer Service with dotted line management of HR and Finance.
• Responsible for P&L, budgeting, bottom line management and other finances such as costs and capital investment.
• Develop mid to long term strategy and improvement of business model.
• Building and sustaining a positive culture in assigned countries.
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with customers.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10 - 15 years of experience in the engineering equipment industry.
• Knowledge of technical sales and project management lifecycle.
• Commercial acumen to conduct market and competitor analysis to devise business strategy.
• Experience in managing annual revenue of around RM 150 million.
• People management experience, having led a direct team of 10-20.
• Experienced in leadership duties such as conducting performance reviews, employee development plan and conflict management.
