Quality Director

Job description

Our client is a rapidly expanding Semiconductor company in Melaka. They are currently seeking a Quality Director.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems in alignment with IATF 16949 standards.
  • Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-performance and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with IATF 16949 standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and optimize efficiency.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, leading investigations, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality management systems.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans to senior management.
