Purchase Order Administrator / Buyer

This global retail (shoewear) company is looking to hire an analytical Purchase Order Admin, someone who will be an effective planner with an action orientated approach. The role is based in KL and as a PO Admin/Buyer you'll be a key member to the procurement team and supporting various departments throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the purchase to pay process to ensure that purchase orders are managed in accordance with all procurement procedures and that they are consistently followed
  • Creating purchase orders and being responsible for the ongoing admin, ensuring appropriate levels of approval are sought at all stages and cross checked against contracts
  • Supporting the budget and category management planning process

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Preferably with relevant administration work experience and must have handled purchase orders
  • Strong ability to analyse data and has an attention to detail
  • Has good written and verbal communication skills
