Project Manager - Governance

Job description

A leading multinational financial services group is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen governance, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management across its regional operations.

You will oversee multiple complex, cross-functional projects within the Risk & Compliance portfolio including regional process migrations and enhancements to enterprise governance platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of high-visibility projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements

  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business units, compliance, legal, technology, and external partners

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources, and timelines for successful delivery

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with proactive resolution strategies

  • Maintain strong governance, prepare executive-level reports, and present to steering committees

  • Mentor junior project managers and analysts, driving collaboration and high performance

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of project management experience within financial services (insurance, banking, asset management, or consulting)

  • Proven record delivering business change initiatives

  • Experience in Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory projects advantageous

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Experience operating in a regional or global matrix environment
