Project Management Officer (PMO)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including project charters, policies, and procedures, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate resource allocation and utilization across projects, working closely with project managers to ensure optimal resource deployment and adherence to project timelines.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues in collaboration with project teams.
• Support financial planning and tracking activities for projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits to assess project adherence to established standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant artifacts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, vendors, and external partners. Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management or PMO roles within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable but not mandatory.
