Project Engineer

Job description

Our client is a well-established provider of end-to-end cold room and refrigeration solutions for a wide range of markets across Malaysia. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join them as they continue to expand their operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate with clients on requirements and specifications.
  2. Conduct status review meetings among project team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  3. Follow up on all progress work from the beginning until the end of the handover.
  4. Update the project status every week to ensure the project completion on time.
  5. Attend site measurements, site meetings, and inspection work of each Project.
  6. Follow up on each stage of progress, such as production, procurement, and installation departments.
  7. Responsible for quality check and handover documents before project handover to the customer.
  8. Responsible for completing the Project within the budget and time provided.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Refrigeration or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Have excellent written and verbal in English, Bahasa communication skills (Mandarin or Cantonese speaking would be an added benefit).
  • Have experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge in AutoCAD with at least 2D drawing experience.
  • Possess good skills in communication.
  • Own car transport.
  • Willing to travel frequently in a day.
