Production Engineer

Our client is a rapidly expanding Electronics company in Johor Bahru. Due to the needs of their recent growth, they are seeking to hire a Production Engineer.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and products.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and reduce production costs.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Train and support production staff on best practices and new procedures.
• Monitor process performance using statistical tools and data analysis to ensure consistent quality and output.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lean manufacturing projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in production technologies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification is a plus.
