About the role

Our client is a leading provider of opening solutions and architectural hardware, offering products such as door locks, knobs, hinges, and related accessories. They are seeking a commercially minded Product Marketing Manager to manage and grow their product portfolio across B2B and channel partner networks, with a strong focus on retail partners. This role sits at the intersection of product management, marketing execution, and sales enablement, ensuring products are well-positioned, market-relevant, and commercially successful.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies for opening solutions and hardware products across B2B and retail channels.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including product launches, positioning, pricing, and phase-out planning.
  • Work closely with sales teams and channel partners to drive product adoption and market penetration.
  • Design and implement channel-focused marketing initiatives, promotions, and retail programs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop sales tools, training materials, and product documentation to support internal teams and partners.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams to align local product strategies with broader brand objectives.
  • Track product performance, analyze results, and recommend actions to improve sales and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing or product management, preferably within hardware, building materials, or related industries.
  • Proven experience working with B2B customers and channel partners, particularly retail and distributor networks.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel locally as required to support partners and market activities.
