Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)

Job description

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the manufacturing industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of materials and services.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Mandarin speaking would be an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
  • Willing to travel for projects.
