Procurement Assistant Manager (FMCG)

Job description

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the FMCG industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Johor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and seek new vendors.
  • Purchase Planning: Develop procurement strategies based on market trends and demand forecasts.
  • Cost Management: Analyse costs, identify savings opportunities, and manage procurement budgets.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and optimise inventory levels to meet operational needs.


  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field, within Supply Chain & Procurement management would be best.
  • Willing to work in Johor.
  • People management skills would be an added advantage.
