Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Management:

    • Prepare, process, and issue insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals.

    • Review and verify accuracy of policy documentation, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

    • Maintain up-to-date records of policy changes, cancellations, and reinstatements.

    • Coordinate with underwriters and insurers to resolve policy discrepancies and inquiries.

  • Client Support:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding policy-related questions and issues.

    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.

    • Assist clients with policy applications, claims submissions, and other administrative tasks.

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Accurately enter and update client and policy information in the company's database.

    • Maintain organized and secure electronic and physical records of policies and related documents.

    • Generate and distribute policy reports and summaries to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Compliance and Auditing:

    • Ensure all policy documentation adheres to company policies and regulatory requirements.

    • Conduct regular audits of policy records to identify and rectify discrepancies.

    • Assist with compliance reporting and preparation for regulatory audits.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with account managers, underwriters, and other team members to support policy administration processes.

    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in policy administration or a similar role financial services industry.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
